The Vessou collection is the result of collaboration with amazing craftspeople, each of whom have helped us to create these beautiful vases.

Vessou moulds are hand made using traditional techniques. Our moulds are produced by a small team in Northamptonshire where each one is produced by rolling and welding metal sections, piece by piece to create the vase design. The mould is then hand polished to create a smooth finish for the rota-moulding process.

Recycled polyethylene is poured into the mould which is then transferred to the oven. Through a rota-moulding process the polyethylene is distributed thickly and uniformly on the walls of the mould. The mould is then cooled and the newly formed raw vase is removed.

After cooling the ‘RAW’ vases are ready for their onward journey.

For CUSTOM finishes the raw vases are then transferred to Gloucestershire to be hand finished. This can be a ten step process which takes between 2 and 3 weeks. Over this process the lacquer or metallic finishes are applied in multiple stages to create the desired final colour and finish.

Vase stands of different styles and finishes are produced in Gloucestershire from the highest grade stainless steel. Our more advanced designs are often machined and turned using traditional techniques and then hand assembled and polished.
